So right now I'm watching Kill Bill Vol 2 on TNT and wondering how come large scale revenge plots never work out in real life. Maybe the Big Revenge Scheme is like the spontaneous sex-scene of your porno-movies, pure fantasy. What we want (the perfect, clean destruction of our enemies from which we walk away unscathed), is not always what we can get. Maybe real revenge is more a matter of chipping away, of going at it for years and your enemies never even knowing that you were behind it. Maybe revenge involves self-destruction.
