It will probably of no surprise to anybody that Myspace is full of fucking perverts. All these old guys looking to get their jollies. There are countless pedophiles hooking up every day, swapping videos and roving the profiles looking for the naïve, the dumb, the vulnerable.

If you, say,  put the story of your childhood abuse in your profile, yes, you might be able to find other people who have been through the same things, but you will also attract the kinds of animals who did those things to you. In addition to the serious, committed perverts, there are all of those genuinely creepy people who haven’t done anything yet. All of those normal-looking schoolteachers, bus-drivers, and maybe a disc-jockey or two with kiddie-porn on their hard-drives, just looking for their first experience.
